Dr. Jonathan R. Whitmore

Dr. Jonathan R. Whitmore is a board-certified cardiologist with advanced training in heart failure, transplant cardiology, and cardio-oncology. He completed his medical education at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, followed by internal medicine internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then pursued fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Whitmore currently practices at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he works closely with multidisciplinary oncology teams to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients undergoing cancer treatment. His clinical focus includes the prevention and management of chemotherapy-related cardiac complications, heart failure in oncology patients, and long-term cardiovascular risk assessment for cancer survivors. He is deeply committed to evidence-based medicine, clear communication, and patient-centered care.
